Description
Manufactured from medical grade silicone, flesh coloured and radio-opaque. Humistom is a uniquely designed stoma button with an integral high particulate capacity (HPC) filter device. UK Patent 9909752.9
 
The HPC filter affords the neck breather moist filtered air, also providing some necessary airflow resistance which promotes increased physiological diaphragmatic activity. The Humistom restores some of the nasal function, is quick to remove and replace, which allows for easy clearing of mucus.

Indication
 
The Medasil humistom silicone stoma button is suitable for use for all permanent laryngectomees and tracheostomees.

  • HPC filter single use only. Life 24 hours or until soiled or contaminated.

Sterilization

  • HPC Filter sterilized by ethylene oxide.
