Description
Manufactured from medical grade silicone, flesh coloured and radio-opaque. Similar in design to the Helsper Button, but having a radius on all edges, the outer diameter being entirely smooth. Also supplied with an extended 6mm flange.

Indication
 
The Medasil silicone stoma button is suitable for use by laryngectomees who have a need for continually wearing either a tube or button in their tracheostomy in order to prevent narrowing of the stoma.

Presentation
  • Supplied non-sterile in individual single wrapped pouches, 10 pouches per carton.
  • Available in 3 sizes - 10mm, 12mm and 14mm. (mixed sizes can be supplied on request)
 Sterilization
  • Supplied non-sterile.
  • Suitable for use with sterilizing fluids. (Patients can clean at home using standard bottle teat sterilizing sets).
  • Single patient use only.
