The Medasil Silicone Septal Button is a single-piece moulding, of two parallel discs connected by a central post. Made from a silicone elastomer which is biocompatible, latex and phthalate-free. The Nasal Septal Button is passed between the perforated nasal septum; the flanges extend beyond the perforation, and provides a simple means of physically occluding and retaining the device. The device is supplied sterile for single use. 

 

Medasil Silicone Nasal Septal Button is intended to be used for temporary non-surgical closure of nasal septal perforations in the adult and paediatric patient population with nasal septal perforations. The device must be fitted and removed by a trained Healthcare Professional (HCP) in a healthcare setting. Each device is intended to be used for up to 29 days.
